Dr. Hammond is a perfectionist, he notices even the most minute details that make the difference between a nice smile and a great one.
He graduated from the University of Louisville School of Dentistry as Vice President of Class. He has over 30 years of dental experience, IV conscious sedation, and general anesthesia.
Dr. Hammond has post graduate training in anesthesia, pain control, and implantology. He is also a fellow of the American Dental Society of Anesthesia and a Diplomat of the National Dental Board of Anesthesiology.
He received a BA in Biology from the University of Louisville in 1975 and his DMD from the University of Louisville Dental School in 1979. His other accomplishments include Kingsbrook Jewish Medical Center, an Externship inGeneral Anesthesia from 1979-1980, General Practice and Hospital Dentistry Residency from 1980-1981, Chief Resident, Outpatient Anesthesia, University of Georgia Dental School and a Mini Residency in American Academy Implant Dentistry.
His Postgraduate accomplishments include a Fellowship American Dental Society of Anesthesia, a Diplomat National Dental Board of Anesthesiology and Extensive Education in Dental Anesthesia and Pain Control & Implantology.
His memberships include the American Dental Society of Anesthesia, National Dental Board of Anesthesia, American Academy of Implant Dentistry, American Dental Association, Kentucky Dental Association, Louisville Dental Association and Alpha Omega Dental Fraternity.
